There are some who think the dance Silvana Mangano did in the scenes in the cafe on t.v. in the movie "Caro Diario" are from the movie "Mambo". Well, it isn't. It was shown in the movie "Anna". The same dance was shown in the movie "Cinema Paridiso".
In "Anna", Silvana played a dancer in a club who later became a nun working in a hospital.
Do you recall what the name of the song was? The song she was singing in Anna?
shareI believe it is called Anna. Chet Atkins did a great rendition of it on his guitar. I see that amazon.com lists the tune as:
"Anna (El Negro Zumbon) (from the Lux film production 'Anna')" --
on Chet's two disc album: Guitar for All Seasons.
