What's up with the low rating?
I remembered loving this movie! It kinda reminded me of The Sandlot, another great movie. How does this film have a 4.9?!

As of today Jan 23, 2009, it is rated 5.2.
However, the under 18 group of voters gives it a 7.5, and the under 18 Females (30 of them) give it an 8.7!
These are enormous differences. An 8.7 score is well into Top 250 territory. In fact, right now, it's into Top 25 territory. Go figure.
As of today, 2014-02-21, Camp Nowhere is rated 5.8, with an "arithmetic mean" (true score, IMO) of 6.2:
