There are lots of trolls on these boards, the user review section, and the metacritic site. I barely made it through one scene and applaud anyone that is able to make it through the entire film. It's truly idiotic and could only be found funny by children.

I really wanted to like it, but gave up halfway through. Only the Letterman cameo (about 10 minutes in) was worth it.
I used to really enjoy Elliott's appearances on Letterman. Maybe he's better in small doses? Or maybe it's because I was still smoking weed ....

Most of my family hates this movie, I on the other hand truly think it's genius. Just one of those movies that resonates with some and not with others.
shareI agree with you. Hated it, couldn't make it past the opening scene. Hated the mixing of two time periods. I guess it appeals to some people.
