DVD release?

Why hasn't this movie ever been released on DVD. You would think that HBO and the creators of this film would want to celebrate Raul Julia's one great performances before he unfortunately passed away.

I have only once seen this movie from tv, but never after that and I have been trying for years to hunt down reasons why there is no DVD release of this.

I totally agree. I was first introduced to this movie in high school, and just now I remembered it. I'd love to have it on DVD, but I guess I'll have to make do with the VHS until they decide to dust it off and give it a proper release.

There is a US playable dvd with Portuguese subtitles available. I found a copy from an Australian source and watched it the other night.
