Anyknow know the year/model of the Mercedes Jessica Lange's character was driving in the film? It's my dream car and I want to say it's a '61 or '60 but I haven't been able to find out for sure. If anyone knows, I'd really appreciate a reply!

I don't even understand the context of the question; Why would a military wife in the early 1960s have a Mercedes-Benz? They drove a beat-up station wagon---which she crashed in one of the first scenes---through most of the movie, then they got a convertible New Yorker or something like that later on.
shareWhy WOULDN'T a military officer's wife, in the early 1960s have a Mercedes? We had one in 1958 and I got to keep it and drive it in high school after my dad retired from the Army. Incidentally, in the 1950s, we also had a Porsche and a Jaguar. I haven't seen a Mercedes in the movie yet (I am watching it right now.)
