This movie gives the idea that the "powers that be" in the Pentagon had him committed to an insane asylum to neutralize him as a possible hindrance to the continuation of an important government program.
I have never heard of the US doing this in real life, not now and not in the Cold War, but the Soviets did it then, and the Russian Federation still does it now in the 2000s.
I dont know if they do it but i bieleve it, thats for sure. Its a way of brain wash of the Powers to cover their mistakes.
I recently heart about a CIA illegal program on people. the MKULTRA Project. It was an experiment about brain fuction on sort of people of any kind, prisoners, horns, policemen......
Please let me know more about this fact that happens in the movie.
