Nobody plays sexy crazy like Jessica Lange.This is a brilliant signature performance for her.

I go back and forth,between The Music Box and Frances. Her Emmy winning turn in Gray Gardens is right up there also. I do think her work in Blue Sky was the strongest of the nominee's that year.She was the favorite and it was her time to win the top honor.
