Terrible dialog/performances

The following scenes made me cringe:

1.The proposal scene in the restaurant.
2.Any scene with Lloyd O'Gill and the Little people.
3.Forrests intro scene at the wedding (is he supposed to have a NY accent?).
4.In fact the whole 'trad' Irish wedding - I'm a paddy and never been to
a wedding like that.
5.Forrest run to the top of the steps (Rocky style).
6.The 'Crab' joke on the beach with Tommy and Jeff's missus and kid.
7.The closing scene with Jeff dragging his bird/kid dowb the park steps and Forrest letting him go.

Good ideas and tension - but the dialog and overall bad performances ruined this for me.

those are all very cringing scenes (especially the 'crab' joke) but are made up for when they hae a montage with tommy lee jones is making bombs while playing u2's "with or without you" and singing along to it... one of the most random movie scenes ever and i love it

Running up the steps appears to be a typical exercise routine for Forest's character. Something he does on his days off or before his work shift begins. Why does his character look so chubby and unfit?

Some of the explosion scenes were exciting. But yeah it's kind of dull.

Watching this now and its outrageous! 1/10
