Western version of Zatoichi??

It's just an opinion but... doesn't this look like a "Zatoichi" movie in a "farwest" setting?

Just as Magnificent Seven does with Seven Samurai and For a Fistful of Dolars with Yojimbo.

Seems to me like a cheaper relative of The Killer, Desperado and Last Man Standing...

Totally, even the plot is similar to one of the Zatoichi films (I think FIGHT! ZATOICHI FIGHT!) in which Ichi has to care for an infant.

Of course, this idea of a Blind gunman originated way back in 1971 with the spaghetti western BLINDMAN starring Tony Anthony and Ringo Starr.

BLIND JUSTICE owes a great deal of debt to that film.

I consider Blind Justice to be an unofficial sequel to Blindman (1971). The two movies would make a great double bill.
