What a stupid fucking movie

First of all yes I know it's a kid's movie. I grew up in the 90s so I know all about that, but when this first came out I thought it was stupid then, and I decided to check it out again and see how it aged and just wow. Beyond stupid;

The kid is a pure punk in this movie, he complains he wants his own house, money, blah blah. So go get a job kid, deliver newspapers, sell lemonade. He is such a whining punk and I had no sympathy for him.

He commits check fraud, he thinks he can just print a fake check and no legal issues cash out a million bucks? Obviously if it wasn't for the weird timing with the mob goons he never would've gotten away with it but the fact he thought he could is just laughable. He's not 6 years old in the movie he surely has a sense of reality with laws and common sense.

The whole him fallen in "love" with the broad banker was just ridiculous. Did we really need that included in this stupid ass plot? The kiss at the end..I hope to god that was just in his mind, otherwise that woman has mental problems. Even when she's dropped off and the limo drives away and she just stares for a second...come on...really?!

Why did he even bother setting up a party like that and cost him all that money, what was he trying to accomplish when he knows everyone including his fantasy bed partner Shay was expecting to meet Macintosh in the flesh. Also he really didn't think a party cater like that wouldn't cost $1000s?

Why did the mob goons have so much trouble catching up to him at the park scene in their car? The kid was on a bike not a dirt bike, I don't care how fast he was pedaling no way he would be able to outrun a speeding vehicle.

So yeah this was easily one of the worst movies I ever seen, and it's hilarious that the actor never had much of a career after this movie. Only other movie I seen him in was Mikey and that was a pile of shit too. Even Macaulay Culkin had a better movie career and is well more known from Home Alone. Made me laugh even more when I saw this pile of garbage knowing this awful actor kid never did much else. What was the director trying to do? To show kids it's okay to commit check fraud, that child molestation is only bad if a grown man kissed a young girl on the lips? God fuck this movie.
