the fountains are at a theater in los angeles, i saw a musical there and recognized them. i forget the name of the theater, but it is a famous one, like the ahmenson theater or something.

reply

the filming locations says they're in Dallas Texas...not LA.

reply

It's in DAllas, Texas, is what is says.

I'm filipino.I have gerontophilia & I have a crush on GEorge Bush!!!

reply

Might be in Austin or San Antonio also.

We filmed this in Texas mostly not much
of it was in CALI.

So there maybe some fountain kind of like
it in California.

But if you want those ones in the movie
its in Texas.

reply

Terrible, horrible movie, but really cool fountains.

The fountains are in Dallas. They are a part of a series of water gardens surrounding this really interesting skyscraper there called, very fittingly, Fountain Place.

Fountain Place
1455 Ross Avenue
Dallas, Texas

The real house in the movie is a historical landmark here in Austin. Pemberton Castle is this old early 1900's home. Actually, it was put up for sale late last year. Asking price? Try 2 million. (The historical value alone makes it a pricey property, but it's a 4000 square feet one-of-a-kind home...I mean if your into the whole living in a 100 year old castle thing & happen to have 2 mil laying around.) :o)

That kid got one hell of a bargain at 300k. <rolls eyes>

i've been watching the 2007 NBA finals, and in particular the Houston/ Utah series, and when the games are in houston, they keep showing these exact fountains. Are there a second set in Houston, or are they showing us Dallas, which is pretty unfair to the city of houston if thats the case. Also i made a bet with a friend about this, so it is time sensitive since she is leaving the country soon. Thanks gang.

reply

i wasnt there for it.

But they did goto Dallas. I was there for
Austin , Cali and San Antonio
but nothing in Houston

I mean nothing against it
but i am sure they are similar.

Well I go to school near Dallas, and live in Houston the rest of the year...but I'll definitely go check out those fountains in Dallas sometime this semester!

As far as similar fountains in Houston, there is the Water Wall near...uh, it used to be called transco tower, but now it's the williams tower, and pictures can be seen here:

There's also pictures of other Houston fountains here:

Odds are you saw the fountains in the second picture on tv. They're near the medical center in downtown.

Anything look familiar?

Everything will be okay in the end, if it's not okay then it's not the end.

The theme park scenes took place in San Antonio.

Guess there really are people who act worse than 12 year olds.
