Not even bad in a good way...

I had to see this to see how bad it was, and I got what I figured was coming to me. I'm not really a big fan of Hitchcock's original, but it's The Godfather compared to this. There was at least suspense in that flick, as well as better looking birds!!! And that film's about 30 years older!!! At least if this movie would have been entertaining it would have been worthwhile , but for some reason the writers of this flick had to turn it into some lame drama with crap like the dead son, or the cheating wife, etc etc. Also doesn't help that this flick had clichéd characters like the stupid Mayor, or the weird sailor who's really not creepy, but a really nice guy. Blah, what was Tippi Hedren thinking starring in this flick??? And she didn't even play the same character as she did in the original!

I give it a 1/10. It's only worth watching to see what the lowest possible form of cinema looks like.
