Rick Rosenthal always has ways of ruining things, doesn't he?

He ruined The Birds
He ruined Halloween
He ruined Halloween H20
And the list goes on. Does anyone else agree?

I met a six-year-old, with an emotionless face and, these black eyes. The devil's eyes! -Halloween

I think you mean he ruined Halloween II..he had nothing to do with Halloween H20...Steve Miner directed that..and i think he did a pretty good job...but I agree with you on 'Halloween II' and 'The Birds II'

reply

He ruined Halloween H20 by making H: Ressurection.

Go ahead... spoil yourself

I liked Halloween II a lot. I think it's the second best of the series by far and I don't think it did anything to tarnish the reputation of the original.

I thought Halloween II and H20 were the best sequels of the series, and I count I, II & H20 in my Halloween trilogy.

As for Halloween Resurection and this piece of trash, yes he did ruin it.

Ah Gizmo... I wish you wouldn't leave out parts 4-6. I really enjoyed the direction the series was taking! Oh well, you're Gizmo and I won't say anything... if I really want you punished I'll just turn a light on.

That would explain why he's credited as Alan Smithee here.

The one flaw in your assertion is that, due to the fact he was able to get his name removed from the directing credit for the film, its fairly safe to assume he didn't have creative control of it. Thetefore, he probably didn't ruin it.
