Why all the hate?

I find it odd that this movie seems so hated in the "reviews" section of this site. I'm guessing that maybe one of the creators went straight, which enrages lesbians. Or maybe one or more of the creators' exes got together to trash this movie. Who knows? It smells of vendetta. But I'm putting my money on one person with sockpuppets.

Of course, this wasn't my favorite movie ever, but it was pretty good. I wasn't high or drunk or anything while watching it. It was just your normal, indy, lesbo flick. The fact that it's stuck in my head after all this time speaks volumes. I saw it in the late 90s (I believe on IFC). I thought it was fine.
