I just saw this double disc set in the local HMV...it looks pretty awful. Bad enough to buy and watch drunk....

Those are way overpriced as now you can get the 7 movie Smokey and the Bandit collection from Universal for under 20.00 and 21.99 at Amazon.com. They put 7 movies on 4 DVDs and only the 1st 3 are in anomorphic widescreen HD format and the others are 1:33 this is still the best deal ever for these classics!

considering these were SHOT FOR TV as backdoor tv pilots they were most likely only shot FULL SCREEN. So they will never be available in a WIDESCREEN format. Unfortunate.
