Who is your fave in this movie??
Mine would be Madeleine Stowe and Drew Barrymore :) I think especially Madeleine is great in this movie she is awesome!!! :)

Drew Barrymore as Lily, she is the BEST...plus, I was glad to see ONE of them in pants...I'm a tomboy and hate that they don't have more of them in movies and TV, and the ones they do usually turn a leaf at the end and are as girly as the rest of them.

Another useless attempt at making a western. Back in the 1880's women did not wear makeup whether they were worth it or not. Next time (if there will be one) drop the makeup, let the eyebrow's grow bushy, learn how to hold a gun before you attempt to shoot it, wear pant's it's safer for horse riding by the way learn to ride a horse.

Are you saying that never existed women who rode horseback in dresses? Or that never existed women who painted their faces even though such things have been in existence for thousands of years? Or are you insinuating that there is only 1 exact way to ride a horse?

Women rode sidesaddle when wearing dresses. Women wearing eyeshadow and having their eyebrows plucked in the 1880s check up on your history. They didn't know how to hold the guns and bad riders. Have you a problem understanding plain english?

OOOOh that bit about understanding English was a very low blow, brainless too. Do you understand that is a no-no when you want ppl like you, you see? Nevermind your high-on-your-horse knowledge of history. You made your point and HISTORY, not you, make it a correct one, but you had to throw it overboard with you ego, that was unapetizing and stupid: nobody likes it when you step on the head of someonelse!

I only watched this movie because I love Madeleine Stowe and Mary Stuart Masterson and had seen this movie a few times on TV in the 90s, but never got around to watching it.

Anyway, I think Madeleine was the best here, but Masterson sadly was my least favorite of the four. Barrymore, who I usually can't stand, was actually pretty good here.

Very good. But brick not hit back!

It is Andie's movie. It is so obvious that she is different then the others. It is interesting that she is the only one that did not suffer ( on screen) physical abuse, and is the one who's not the outdoors type. Lilly was mean Anita was not nice either Cody although the toughest was the most decent of the Bad Girls. Eileen ( Andie) really was not bad. She was the one who regretted the mistakes that she made in life and when William gave her the opportunity to return to the ranch life she grew up with she took it. The others decided to go dig for gold in the Klondike.
