well first of all I truly and honestly agree with everything you said, that was right on! To answer your question about it beeing funny when it happens to guys and not to girls. you are right that it is not as common to see girls getting it in the crotch or chest presented as "humor" but there are still movies out there that do do it. Kingpin: a man punches at a womans brest like a punching bag. in MOnster in law we see a woman getting kneed several times. and these sceans are presented as "humorious" I dont think men or women crotch humor is funny but girls getting it is presented as humor just not as much as men, that I dont why but I cant get past seeing anyone in that kind of pain man or women (me beeing a guy I can sympathese more for ballkicks but I think seeing don to a woman is just as unfunny)

well acually the kingpin thing the woman dose not seem to be in pain. but in monster in law the mother nees her assistint twice and yes she dose grone and hunch over in pain. She even says afterwards "I think you disslocated my vagina" I was with two of my friends when I saw it, a guy and his girlfriend and they both laughed hyestricaly. she did more then him and he laughed pretty hard.

amen, but I still dont think ballkicks or boxhits sould be laughed at and especially not in family moves. real or not the fact that you create a character and even though not a real person they are real for the duration of the srtor the chacters apper to be acually real. even though you know in your mind that its phoney, we still cant help but admit there is realism to it

Yeah, I found this part the funniest part of the movie. I just watched it last night and for the most part, it didn't have much stand-out humor. But THIS part took me totlly by surpise. It has been YEARS since I last laughted hard enough to make tears. And it's also the first time I've ever laughted SO hard that it made my nose run. Painfully funny! Alot had to do with how the director presented it. The huge amount of kicks, as well as the sound effects that made them sound brutal, as well as the fast pace of the kicks. All delivered by an idiot. I reccomend it to almost everyone to see. Man, I laughed so hard! Showed it to my mom today and she did the same thing. She compared the humour intensity to certian parts of "Planes, Tranes, & Automobiles". One that had my parents in stiches when it first came out. Can't wait to see what my dad things once he sees it!
There's certain shows where the scenes are so funny that you almost should be warned, lest they hit you unexpectedly and swiftly. This was one!
This movie sucks so bad, that part made me hate the movie even more. They wouldn't even need the baby to get the money and they wouldn't need to act like complete retards to get it.

The movie would have been too short if they had thrown the baby in the incinerator and it wouldn't have been very funny either since it was called "Baby's Day Out" and not "Baby's Barbeque". I loved the film because I know how baby sitting will tire you out and what fun they have just doing whatever they can.
