I never actually owned this movie, but I rented it at least 4 times when I was younger. Everytime I watched it, I'd always look forward to the scene where the baby lights that one kidnapper's nuts on fire with the cigarrette lighter. That's got to be the funniest scene in the movie. I probably came close to pissing my pants from laughing when I first saw that scene, around the time when I was 6.

shareSuch a funny scene! I think mostly due to Joe Mantegnas acting. His pain and sounds he makes is damned hilarious.
There's a few other funny parts as well, mostly by Joe, he is easily one of the funniest characters in the film.
I know Joe Mantegna probably did not want to make a name for himself doing physical slap stick humor but, when I watch the DVD's featurette, he looked like he was having a fun time on the set making this movie. My kids just watched it again, as teens, and they still love the comedy of the bungling criminals. Good times.
