A baby's day out in China....

At the end of the film the baby gets another book off the shelf and it has the title "a baby's day out in China" When I was a little kid I wished that they had made a film of this because I loved a babys day out it was just a cclassic kids movie!! So for any movie directors out there get an all star cast for a babys day out in China ;)

Man, I was wishing for that too. at least then I would have wanted to see it. But now, me being 18, I'd probably think that it would be the lamest movie ever

I was always expecting a sequel and it never happened!

You know, I really cannot think of many instances where it is like Remo WIlliams (The "Beginning"... of what, exactly...?) But this here is another example!

Surely there's others out there, too, that would benefit from a sequel, at least before any more "SAW" movies!

same, always wanted a sequel made, now im older but still would like to see it made

so would I

They probably didn't make a part two because the first one grossed only 16 million with a 50 million budget.

...mr johnson is working on a slightly more personal story as of late...
...thats assuming he never went to china as a baby...

They should make a 'Baby's Day Out In China' with Jackie Chan as one of the guys. That has so much potential with just Jackie and a baby lost in china. I know Jackie is from Hong Kong but he could still play the part, he'd be halarious.

"You seem unhappy, I like that" - The Janitor.

I'd love to see the baby take on the People's Liberation Army.

I'm sure I've seen that title in some DVD shops, though I haven't got around to watching it yet. And anyway, I strongly doubt if it's nearly as good as the original 'Baby's Day Out'.

Isn't Robin-B-Hood almost the same thing? At least the closest you're going to get to a Baby's Day Out sequel.

reply

Yeah, but that was over ten years ago! I think a risk to undertake wouldn't be such a big deal at this point.

"A Baby's Day Out In China" should be made.

Anyone know if the movie was based on a book?

reply

Yeah, it was called 'Baby's Trip To China'.
I remember getting all excited after seeing that, thinking there will be a sequel. There was none. Sad...

1st time I watched this movie when I guess I was 9 yrs. old and Baby's Day Out got pasted in my photographic memory perfectly. Now, I am 21 and just watched it today and still found it to be equally funny and amusing.
Yes, it's a movie that demands your brain to be put to rest. But when you do that, every bit of it is refreshingly good particularly when you watch it with your mom and dad. The smiling baby bink and his boo-boo are one of the most joyful moments ever created.

Wish there is a Baby's Day Out in China.

I think every kid who saw this movie wished at the end that "Baby's Trip to China" would release very soon...myself and my two brothers included!
