Music from APEX trailer

Rented a movie VHS tape circa 1996 and it had a few movie trailers before the main feature; one of the trailers was for APEX. There were no words, just this synthesizer music that started slowly but then sped up and was actually quite good. Reminded me of 1980s Tangerine Dream. All too often movie trailers don't use music from the actual movie itself, but music taken from another movie's soundtrack. Not having seen a DVD of APEX, I don't know if any such trailer shown on the DVD also incorporates the music.
