Worth of watching?

Is this movie worth of watching?
Is as good as baazigar and darr? Or at least comparable?

if you like srk in anti-roles, then it's a must watch, cause in this film he is more meaner than ever!

Absolutely. Maybe even better then those two. I cant really decide myself because Anjaam, Darr, and Baazigar are my all time favorites. Darr being number one.

No its not worth it. It's very disturbing and graphic. Now I like my share of Gore and all but not when its used against women. The ending sucked as well.

So you only like it when its used against men?

I dont understand what you disliked so much about it. I found it really entertaining. And I think its definetely worth it, unless your extremely young. Other then that, I dont think just because its "disturbing" or "Graphic" it shouldn't be viewed.

First off, I never said anything about gore when its used against men.

Secondly, its my opinion that I didnt like the movie. Why does that bother you so much? You seem hostile when there is no need to be, just cause someones opinion of something differs yours.

I know you never mentioned anything about men. But that statement about gore being used against women made no sense to me.

I didn't mean to come off hostile. You said the movie wasn't worth watching, and I was questioning that. Has nothing to do with me being offended or disliking your opinion. I understand your entitled to it, I was only questioning it. If you dont want to discuss it, then just say so.

Dear, oh dear! The brutality of this film is unbelievable - there is little taste in such severe misery as this. The horrible incidents which take place in this film are simply for sadistic purposes... if there were perhaps some deeper meaning to all the violence then perhaps I would have more respect for this film. Unfortunately I think the director just took this one step too far, leaping a considerable distance from Darr and Baazigar. I'm not at all sensitive when it comes to watching pain and gore, but there were certain aspects which really perturbed me. The beating and eventual death of Dixit's husband for one and the shameless abuse towards her daughter. The extent to which this was taken, was wholly unnecessary. A good director is able to portray the same pain and tell the same story without making the film a graphic gore fest. Where is the insight here??! And as always, Shahrukh Khan takes his role to the extreme, over-acting in every way possible. I flinch everytime he comes on screen; it's literally painful.

Forgive me for babbling on like this, but this film is so speechlessly shallow I can't understand the popularity behind it. Truthfully, I don't like the idea that such a film can be called entertaining, because it concerns me people so openly relish in the obscenely macabre like a sexual desire, only without the hormones.

well worth it. one of the only roles I liked SRK in.
