why doesn't the movie follow the book?
this really urks me- angie is based on the book angie, i says. the main character isn't angie. therefore, it shouldn't even have this title! i can't even watch the movie because of it!

In the book, the main character is Tina (whose best friend is named Angie), but in the movie the main character is Angie (whose best friend is named Tina). It's the same main character - it's just that the names are switched around in the movie.
