What part made you cry/sad????

I love this movie so much.

The part that gets to me the most was when at the end..........Al tells Roger that Mel does not have much time left and what also tugs at me was Roger's reaction.

I used to watch this with my grandfather all the time when I was a little girl and when Christopher Lloyd would say at the end "We're always watching", my grandfather would hug me and say there are always angels looking over us. He passed away when I was 16, so this movie gets to me when Lloyd says that because I think of my grandpa watching over me. Also when Roger is in the court room and sees his dead beat dad just walking away from him and he starts crying, my dad checked out on our family, so again, I know how he feels.

Smells Like Cheese.........

Sorry to hear about your dad. That scene must have brought back strong memories. I am, however, touched by your wonderful story about your grandfather and you watcing it together as well as what he told you. What a great experience you had with him. I am sure he is watching down on you just as Al said.

I loved the part where the white-collar doofus guy sits in the nachos. Still think it's awesome today, 16 years later, and I every script I write has one of the characters doing something like that.

The part when Albert Pujols signed with the Angels.

I feel the same way about Barry Zito signing with the Giants

When God made Tom Cruise, he was only joking.

The courtroom scene makes me really sad :( Poor Roger. I felt so bad for him when his dad just walked away like that.

You have to stop the Q-Tip when there's resistance!

when he was in court and his dad was there and didn't want him and gave him to the state of california.

The scenes between Roger and his father. His dad saying they'll become a family again if the Angels won the pennant. Only for the Angels to become close and his dad to lose custody of Roger to the state. Rather disheartening if you're the person involved or having a similar situation hit close to home.

Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls it's more democratic.
