The One and Only "Mughl-e-Azam" : If you havn't seen this movie I recommend you to watch colored version. Before 50 years even hollywood couldn't make such an epic. There are many other movies but I say again ONE AND ONLY "MUGHL-E-AZAM"

Ummmm .. aren't you forgetting Ben Hur(1959)?? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Mugha-E-Azam(1960) was a bad movie, but you just cannot compare any bollywood movie with a hollywood one .. Hollywood's way ahead of Bollywood in ALL genres .. yes even the emotional and romantic ones.

I think Indian cinema has the edge in emotional and romantic dramas. They've mastered that genre in my opinion. They've also made several amazing comedies, but there are classic American comedies that probably edge them in terms of quality. Action, Thrillers, and even Sci-Fi should be explored by India. Realism is also a way of thinking that I hope Indian directors can mange to fully grasp.
