This plot is exactly like Children of Men. Does anyone know if the book came before or after this flick? If after, the author pretty much ripped this seeming piece-o-crap off.
shareAfter googling things, it seems that the book came out in 1992. Supposedly this film was made in 1993 and released in '94 so that would mean that both this and Children of Men were influenced by the book.

It seems like they took the PD James novel and meshed it with elements from The Terminator. As bad as the film is, there are some elements of the production that are more than decent for a movie of this type. The locations and set design, for instance, seem to do a better job capturing the post-apocalyptic atmosphere than some of it's B-movies rivals in the genre.
