I was about to compare the two. I happen to like Cyborg and a lot of 80's and 90's b movies quite a bit. In fact Army of Darkness is quoted in my sig below. I put Cyborg and American Cyborg about on the same level. The bad guy didn't seem all that imposing in this movie as the big dude in Cyborg did, but still worked.
