Hal Hartley's BEST FILM?

for my money trust and henry fool are his best works. i have a special place in my heart for simple men as well. personally, amateur was not really my favorite of his work. i love martin donovan, james urbaniak, but thomas jay ryan as henry fool is one of the most unique comedic performances i've ever seen in american film. pitch perfect acting and a pompously over the top arrogant attitude. the fact that tomas jay ryan hasnt been in 25 brilliant films since henry fool is evidence of how utterly dead or uncreative the american film scene is. but not surprising that true talent is overlooked. i see that BS everday.

Worst one I've seen so far, still pretty good though.
