Whats with the move that Rex does with his guitar in prison? Then the two black inmates give him this weird look and rex looks embarrased. Whats the deal?

its pretty simple, he is being all hard rock and trying to look good, and he is in PRISON remember, and we all knows what goes on in there with people who look good ;)

His guitar thrusting always reminded me of Hendrix for some reason, and him being white and doing it made the coloured men confused. Thats how I took it

Um... When Pip says to Rex "Hey, what are you doing," he's really saying "Hey, when you're in prison, you don't do anything sexually suggestive to big giant guys who want to violate your anus." That's how I took it, anyway.

I always thought that part was hilarious. Pip goes "Rex! Rex, what're you doing man?"
Just the facial expression on Rex is priceless as he realizes what he's doing.

has nothing to do with people that look good. IT has to do with being in a gang and/or how well you fight and your connections. And him thrusting the guitar towards them ON ACCIDENT was basically giving them an invite for them to *beep* him.

Dude started humping his bass. The two tough looking black guys thought it was weird. Because it was. Moral of the story: Don't hump your musical instruments; it's silly.

Basically he is doing what he would to female fans, he is in the moment and forgets where he is, the black guys are thinking "WTF?!?!?!?"

Some of you need to track down the DVD/VHS of this movie. When I saw this on T.V. the other day I never remembered the shot the of the two confused/angry dudes at the end. Back when I saw this in the theaters and watched it after school when HBO would play it every day it showed a couple white dudes smirking at Rex. Wayyyy funnier, lol. I don't think this was "too lewd" for a TV cut, strange stuff.

The 'screwing-the-guitar' move is in true rock 'n' roll style...when you're performing in front of a normal crowd. However, it's a very bad move when you're a good-lookin' guy in prison *cough*assrape*cough*

Rex was getting into it and trying to look cool when playing his bass. But shaking your tush in front of convicts in prison probably is not a bright idea.
