Funny Classic Showtime Movie

The Trailer for this movie doomed this film at the box office.
American goes to Africa to teach the savages basketball. The whole concept seemed deeming.

But when it came on Cable, Showtime would repeatedly show this film about 15 times a month, so me and my bro would watch and laugh at this funny good natured film.

This film has classic funny quotes which is made funnier by the accents.

Evil Owner: "27 inch Color Television!, HaHaHaHa"

Referee 1: "Time out, Mingori"
Referre 2: "Ten secons, remening."

Main Character: "I show yu Jimmy Dolan Shek n Bek. You think I'm going to go to the right, but I never go with my first move. You think I'm going to go left but I can't go left. But wat I'm really going to do (then he jumps over the defender and dunks it for the win)."

Plot: basically Jimmy Dolan goes to Africa to recruit a 7 foot baller. Dolan has to interest the 7 footer in basketball. There is a tribal war between two of the tribes. They decide to settle it with a basketball game. Jimmy Dolan and 7 footer play in the game. Evil Team injures Dolan. In a side plot, 7 footer's estranged brother, the chaffeur for the Evil Team owner, takes Dolan's place and the two brothers stage a comeback to determine the fate of the tribe.

Great cheap Showtime fun up there with Quiz Show, Clifford (Martin Short), and Captain Ron.
