Is this the movie where they cut Kevin Bacon's tummy?

I don't remember how exactly the scene goes, but they pour ice over him and cut his tummy or something? It was like a ceremony?

It's been a while since I've seen it, but yeah, I think this is the one. If I remember, he temporarily joined the tribe or something to play in the basketball game at the end.

one does not temporarily join the tribe the ritual they did was for jimmy to become a member of the tribe the act of cutting is a sacred act by said tribe and once it is performed one is a member for life
