"To Wong Foo..." came out a full year after this. Hate the movie if you must, but do not call it unoriginal.

You've got to be kidding. Too Wong came out after this one. But well, you used the word 'awful' in conjunction with Too Wong, so at least you got one thing correct.

I have not seen thistle film. I have seen the Priscilla movie and the stage musical version. So no comment on which is better. Just to say like as been said before. Pricilla Queen of the Desert was out first.

I thought both films were not very funny at all. Priscilla had that hammy acting and the story was plain jane as. The ping pong scene was racist and tasteless (like that drag queen with ABBA poo..yuk!) Hey i love comedies but Priscilla I didn't get.
Sorry fans of this (my date really enjoyed it but its not my cuppa.)
