Okay, so I'm very mad, I had no idea it was going to be on VH1. I wake up at 2:55 AM (EST) just in time to see Tupac's character get shot in the chest, so I'm wondering, is this a movie I need to go out and rent?

In my opinion, no, it's not rent-worthy.
Just catch it on the TV one night again. No sense in paying money for this flick, not much to admire in this one I'm afraid.

It wasn't terrible, but it was far from flawless. I voted on this film as a 5 out of 10....... worth watching as a late night flick on TV but not worth the price of admission.

You can damn near buy it for the price of renting it, so buy it.

Not a perfect movie at all, but worth owning if you are a basketball fan. There are not alot of other basketball movies out there where the actors can actually play ball.
