Wood Harris looked like a cancer patient

Well this was 6 years before Remember the Titans and I thought he was good in that film.

All around, this wasn't a movie that was tailor-made for Awards season if you catch my drift.

He improved a lot from this to The Wire.

Maybe because Avon's character required more depth and showed some humanity despite being a cold-blooded killer, but his acting was just a whole lot better to me.

How does a cancer patient act? Was he losing weight? Coughing?
