Was this movie released in theathers?

Cause the DVD I got comes in full screen. Was this movie ever released in widescreen?

reply

I don't think it was released in theaters. From what I remember, it was made for HBO.

I have a new philosophy. I'm only going to dread one day at a time.

"Was this movie released in theathers?"

What the heck is a theat - her?

You couldn't possibly mean a 'theater', because your grammar is otherwise so.. err.. let's see.

"Cause the DVD I got comes"

This is SO far from actual english, it boggles the mind as to how someone with this level of english skill is still intelligent enough to operate a keyboard of some sort.

First of all, it's not 'cause', it's 'because' - 'cause' has a completely different meaning without the apostrophe that would make it a contraction of 'because'. It's never " cause ", it's always " 'cause ". See the difference?

Second of all, you don't start a sentence with either word, that should be common sense. I guess people are right, when they say that common sense is not so common.

Third of all, DVDs don't come. They stay put, and they are incapable of orgasming. They are brought, used, put in, taken out, etc., but they never 'come'. Coming implies agency, and a DVD (Digital Video Disc) doesn't have any.

What is your definition of 'full screen' anyway? Don't use the marketing terminology, that will just lead you astray. Full screen has nothing to do with aspect ratios or such, it simply means something fills the screen. Now, screens come in many different sizes, shapes and aspect ratios, but that doesn't even enter into it, because you are talking about a DISC filling your screen, and none of that makes any sense.

You must be one of those genius savants, because you are able to pack SO many errors, mistakes and just faul grammatical and semantic horrors into such a short sentence.

Your name is also not capitalized, and in proper english, names are. Putting a number in your name is also bad form and very childish thing to do.

To add to all this, why do people even post a couple of lines of text and think that's good enough a content for a whole post? Why not actually write something meaningful and create a proper, well thought-out post? Ah, I forgot - you do not think.

You decided to play grammar nazi with an 11 year old post? You must lead a boring life.

To be fair, spellcheck-retorts were quite the popular in the early 'noughties' (perhaps avortac4 was having a retro-whinge?)

I made remarks about someone's mother, the other week (nostalgic bugger, that I am)
