I wish this film was more well known for discussion

Of course though the fact that it's a hidden gem adds to its mystique. I haven't seen it for years and yet it is haunting. It would be nice to read more posts than this though!

Cousin Cheryl, I don't think the family REALLY knows you.

One of favourite films of all time. I've been looking to see if i can get it on Region 1 DVD (not possible yet) ...or see if my old-but-reliable DVD player can play the available Region 2 dvd's ...which are available on Amazon, etc. I think i'm out of luck, for now.

A great, great film. Makes one want to travel [some more]!!

Love this movie... saw it in hollywood at an art house back when it was released. Rocky Horror was the second bill that night ;p Yeah, that kind of place.

Loved it... when it was released on VHS, I snapped it up. Still looking for a DVD version, as my VHS copy was lost in The Great Flood of 2001 (Public Storage facility in SoCal)

So good.

There are a few posts here now, which is good. When I first visited this page in 2004 there was nothing and mine was the first post on the film. I saw this film on TV in 1999 and it has stayed with me a long time! Great film, and it stands the test of time.

I bought this on VHS several years ago---had no idea what it was about when I bought it, just thought it looked interesting. I loved it, and have been disappointed to see how few people are familiar with it.

I wish it was available on R1/R0 DVD. I just got it on DVD in PAL format. A region-free player was one of my best buys ever!

It's a real shame this movie hasn't had a R.1 release as another post already pointed out. I just wanted to add my two cents worth.

This is a real gem of a movie. I watched it over a decade ago when I was in college, and have never stopped thinking about it, or checking to see if it will ever get a region 1 release. Let's hope it does someday!
