Who Hates...

Who else hates Tum Tum in this movie? Chad Powers did a much better job of Tum Tum. I don't like the way he looks in this movie. Not much like a ninja. He's too obsessed with his ding dongs (makes him seem gay, DING DONGS!!!) and good and pleantys (good and pleanty ding dongs, perhaps). I think that Tum Tum is supposed to be gay in this movie. He eats good and pleanty of ding dongs.

too me, he seemed to have been overexploited in order to achieve some means of being cute... when really he gets annoying and adds an incredible amount of corniness to the film... they should have left his ass at home with mommy.

reply

Well, I don't hate him..but I agree that he wasn't as good as the original Tum Tum but I wouldn't say that I hated him. There was way too many lines about ding dongs, that you are right about..but him being gay? This is just a kid's movie--but you know there is nothing wrong with being gay so who knows.

I defiently liked Chad Powers better. He was such a cute little kid! hehe but my favorite was always Colt--it even became my nickname. I acted so much like him as a kid--temper and all!

I know this is like 20 years after your post but stringing together two junk food names, used in the movie, to support your theory of Tum Tum's gayness had me crying at my desk. Very 7th grade but in a good way.

"He eats good and pleanty of ding dongs."

LMAO!

reply

I know that this is literally 2 years after your post but i was also sitting there laughing to death. I couldnt see through my tears.

i'm glad this thread was already here so i didn't have to start it myself. in all of Tum Tums fight scenes in this movie he just sat on a guy who had already been knocked down by Colt, Rocky, Or Miyo i woulda liked to see him fight that ugly mustangs pitcher and get his ass kicked.

"i hope there's more food in our next adventure!"
Go to hell tubby.

Its a nice harmless Kids movie, everyone has a right to their opinion, but I enjoyed it.

I realize this is late, but I hated that kid. Throughout the entire thing I just wanted to beat him in the face with a brick.

"Everything they do is so dramatic and flamboyant. It just makes me want to set myself on fire."

reply

The kid who played Tum-tum in Kickback was lazy. All he did was eat and get cheap shots off people. The Tum-tum from the original and knuckle up did do more action and he was funnier.

reply

I like Evan Bonifant better than Chad Power
He's way cuter

reply

OMG, if tum tum can like really fight, i wanna see him free for all in a cage match, with all the men using weapons, that lil whus would get beheaded hardcore. .

that annoying wink at the end!!! by then. . .i'm Taking my magnum out and pulling the trigger

Please tell me he died a gory death in this series..

reply

im quite positive that kick backs, "tum tum" was a douche bag

reply

Yeah, hes a total douche.

reply

I know I'm like 4 years late but I was peeing myself laughing (not literally) reading these posts. He is annoying but probs too young to know weather he's gay or not.

reply

Who ever though a hostess snack cake could make someone gay??? lol

But I couldn't stand kick back's Tum Tum either he seemed way younger than the Tum Tum in the first movies, was just a brat...I didn't care too much for the dorky Rocky in this film either...

reply

I knw I'm abou 6 years too late but I am one of those that didn't like this tum tum as much I didn't hate him he was ok but chad powers was way more funny. As for the cheap shots and fighting well I didn't see much of a difference I'll admit I did see a litte bit more out of the original tum tum but it's not that much different. The character of tum tum wasn't supposed to be a great fighter like his brothers rocky and colt he was the youngest and it's supposed to be cute when he cheap shots the bad guys I don't think they ever intended to make him look strong.

reply

What? You're linking his love for certain foods to his sexuality? You're an idiot. I honestly can't believe you're going there with that. Grow up.

Be thankful for every new day!

I liked Evan Bonifant better than Chad Powder too.

I realize that I'm a wee bit late responding to your post, but, I also disliked the character of Tum Tum portrayed by J. Evan Bonifant. Even though I haven't seen this movie since 1994, it was probably the least memorable of the trilogy, not including 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain (1998).

I just now discovered that it was the same kid who also starred in the (laughable) Blues Brothers 2000 (1998) film. I can see why he completely ruined that movie for me as well.

What boggles my mind is that all of the original cast came back for the third installment but completely skipped over the second one with the exception of Max Elliott Slade. Even replacing Michael Treanor with Sean Fox was a bad idea.

Well, I'll always have fond memories of this movie. It was the last one of the 3 Ninjas franchise that actually had a theatrical release.
