Wheels of Fire

In the episode Wheels of Fire,a replica of the 1950s Ford showcar "Lincoln Futura" is passed off as the "Baxley",the brainchild of renegade car builder Preston Baxley (certainly a play off Preston Tucker and his Tucker '48).This car is a fiberglass copy,and it even retained Futura nameplates on Viper(readily seen as well!).The car chase showed off a very poor tuned engine,with black soot pouring out the pipes every time the pedal was jumped on.Great to see that car in action,and back then,I had thought that Ford actually made two Futura cars (one became the Batmobile),but later I learned this one was just an enthusiasts reproduction-copy.
