So they werent high school kids?

I was never REALLY interested in this show (power rangerss was the ish) but I remember thinking that they were highschool kids. Now I watched a episode on youtube and the girl was a journalist or something. Are they like college grads?

Well Battle for the Books, and The Transmutant both mention J.B. trying to get into college, but in Field Goal they mention that Ryan used to be the star player for the high school football team so sometimes it's hard to tell.

Maybe:

* Ryan never went to college after high school
* JB, being really smart, probably graduated from high school early, but couldn't afford to go to college
* Kaitlyn probably didn't need to take college courses to become a photojournalist, or maybe she's a journalism and/or photography intern

To answer your question, I got the impression they were out of high school but, entry level in their respective field. This was the 90s; where you could still get an entry level job without a college degree. I think the computer guy was probably in college though and it just wasn't shown; this show had a stingy budget so, they probably didn't waste time or money fleshing those details out.

I actually couldn't stand this show; I'm amazed that it lasted 4 seasons, I hardly knew anyone who watched it. I could go on and on about why it sucked:

For one, the actors were dull; made worse by the fact that there were only three of them so, you don't have any other actors to buffer the boring ones. It would be like if Billy, Trina and Zach were the only Power Rangers.

Second, they looked old (well, at least to a 10 year old); serious case of Dawnson-casting. It was like watching the cast of 90210 in stupid costumes. I wasn't able to articulate it at the time but, I found that a bit jarring.

Speaking of costumes: yikes. Even for '95 they looked bad to me; and none of them had a primary color so they looked very generic, adding to the boring-factor.

A big part of the problem for me is that Power Rangers was still on at the time so, watching this show was throwing away steak for a cheeseburger. Why would I watch a crappy version of Power Rangers when I could just watch Power Rangers? LOL.
