I consider myself an atheist but I do enjoy this show.
Great acting, great writing and nice to see a show with a happy ending every week.
I only wish I had paid attention to it when it was on first run.
It even makes me tear up. Like last night's episode on Hallmark with the Down's Syndrome neighbors.
Well, I have a friend who isn't religious and he quite likes it too. One that sticks out for him (and me!!) is "Pandora's Box" from Season 6 - the one where Evan Rachel Wood's character is in danger from a pervert and her father views porn.
Grr, you're so lucky to have Hallmark! Hope you continue to enjoy the show!

shareI'm a Heathen myself, and I've always enjoyed this show (and HIGHWAY TO HEAVEN) because it's well done and delivers a message of love rather than religious dogma, which, with all the horrors that are going on in the world, is a nice change!
shareI watched it as a tween/teen for the same reasons. I wasn't religious then - still am not, though I have my beliefs - but I liked the show anyway. Haven't watched it since though. I feel like it probably wouldn't hold up for me and I hate to lose my good memories.
shareI have a very good friend who was Pagan and enjoyed the show as much as I did. She eventually became a Christian and then a few years later passed away. My heart still aches at the loss of her but I'm so glad she got to learn of God's love from this show and was open to hear about accepting Him from me.
