Closing Credits, Coronation

I have been watching these series here in the US on a PBS station. After watching the last episode of To Play The King I came here to the message board to see what was said about the demand for the King's abdication. In the messages I found references to the scenes of the young prince's coronation that show during the closing credits (thus supporting the assumption that the king does abdicate). I have watched the episode and it's closing credits right through to the very end and the broadcast I have watched (multiple times) shows no such thing. The credits run in white lettering on a plain black background. At the very end, after all the credits have run,FU turns to the screen and says "God save the King". Obviously this is in reference to the new king whose coronation was supposedly just seen. Does anyone have an explanation why it was apparently edited out, at least in the version currently playing on PBS?

I don't know, but that was a bad decision. That scene pretty much concludes the story. I suppose it's not an absolute necessity since dialogue between Urquhart and the King indicates it's over for the King, but the visual confirmation of the young King's coronation against the closing credits really seals it. The only conclusion I can come up with is the station wanted to run the credits at a faster pace than was originally intended, so instead of speeding the scene up and having the actors make all these jerky motions against speedy credits, they just made a new, black credit screen.
