No way Blade can Transform in The Sequel to Tekkaman

The last episode of Teknoman CLEARLY SHOWS BLADE'S EMERALD CRYSTAL SHATTERING INTO MILLIONS OF PIECES. And then they would have to fall down all over the world like the pieces of the Venomoid Mothership. So in other words there is no way that crystal of his can ever be recovered. I have a hard time believing that it could even survive reentry.

I have an easier time believing that Balzac survived then to see Blade transform in the sequel. The sequel was written by different people (amateurs)then the ones who wrote the original.

Of course I haven't seen the sequel, but I have read that Blade's crystal magically gets all mended up.

I believe the rare OVA "Missing Link" may answer that question. You can watch it on YouTube.

The OVAs and Tekkaman Blade II were rubbish anyway.

Blade not being able to transform would make for a very boring Tekkaman Blade.

It's one of the mysteries that TBII never answered, nor did the Specials. It's an old argument that will survive at least until the fans who saw Teknoman/TB as children turn into worm food.

It's a common believe among *real* fans that the only thing superior about TBII to the original series is the consistent artwork. Although the armour of the new generation of teknomen/tekkamen were absolute rubbish, at least the artwork was consistent. Other than that, that's it. There were many questions left unanswered, such as how D-boy's crystal regenerated (I'm of the belief that it regenerated after he heals, maybe the universe's way of thanking him for getting rid of Omega), how Aki became a Tekkaman (thankfully answered in Missing Ling) and where the hell the other Space Knights are (although Noal is shown to be arrested by the military in episode 5). Another criticism I have is that D-boy and Aki, though together, aren't as close and cuddly as I'd like!

If anything, fans watch TBII because we've got nothing else to watch ^^;; I believe that Tatsunoko have treated fans very badly and missed the opportunity to capitalise on TB's popularity and unique storyline. Teknoman/TB is up there with Robotech with character and story depth, except Teknoman came at a time when Anime began to evolve into the mindless Pokemon, Digimon and the like.

I found it hard to believe that Balzac survived in Teknoman, but for happy ending sake, was glad that Balzac got another chance.

One of the possibilities is that D-boy/Blade went back in a pod, and he got his crystal regenerated. Like a new key could be made for a lock by possibly reading the contours of the lock, a new crystal (System Box/Tek Set) could be made by examining the "lock" in his body.

Perhaps Blade never went into a pod in TB because no pods were available (that weren't under the control of Omega). Sure, they linked up a bloomed plant to Pegas to accelerate Blade's Blastor evolution, but he never went into the bloomed plant itself.

Another theory is that perhaps he absorbed Saber/Evil's crystal, but I don't know how much water this one holds.

I liked Tekkaman Blade 2 at first, but it quickly went downhill when I realized that it didn't answer any questions (so the "real Radham/Venomoids" start to show up, but are BARELY featured), and then they have the guts to NOT have Blade/Slade be a main character and not really answer what happened to everyone since then.

And THEN, it ends with Radham STILL fighting Earth.

The cool thing about the Teknoman ending is that (bear with me, it's been a few years since I watched it), the fact that the Venomoids(Radham) were STILL coming, and that Darkon and the rest (in many ways) were just the first wave.

TB2 could have been AMAZING, but it wasn't.

Well, I've got news for you pal, you ain't leadin' but two things: Jack and sh*t and Jack left town
