One of the FIRST shows to have an actual ending?

This was the only anime I got into as a kid.

When I picked it up on DVD, I was happy to see that it got an ACTUAL ending. Unlike other shows I watched (i.e. He-man, Ninja Turtles, and MANY others) this actually had a beginning, middle and end, which was really cool.

I think that is one of the things I LOVE about this show. Despite the fact that parts of the animation is dated, or that some of the dialogue is off, the fact that the writers/producers actually made it so we got to see the END of the story (well, the semi-end since Darkon talked about how forces were still coming).

Well, I've got news for you pal, you ain't leadin' but two things: Jack and sh*t and Jack left town

Hi slade4ever!

I've seen you around on both this and the Man of Steel boards. Glad to see a fellow fan :)

Yep, this show had an ending that was triumphant, sad, and fitting -- all at the same time. I don't recall Darkon talking about how forces were still coming -- what scene is that from?
