Sweet Valley Confidential

I was a SVH and SVU fan in the 90's when I was a teenager. I haven't read a book in years now. Have just heard about the new series, it should be interesting since for those of us ( although I assume im the oldest one on this forum) that are in our 20's will surely like to see what became of our favourite twins and their friends.

Does anyone know the release date?

Sam: Yeah, I know! ~Supernatural

reply

She's been promising it for ages and I believe the last release date given was summer 2006, but it seems like she's stopped work on it. No one has heard anything for ages. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to it. :(

reply

That is a shame. Thanks anyway batey boodle.

You're talking about the reissue of the first two books in the SVH series. This question was about the proposed new series, Sweet Valley Confidential, where the twins are 26 years old.

Hmmm, I am soory, I don't think THOSE are out yet.

It's out now. Go ahead. Check it out. But be forewarned--take a look at the reviews for Amazon.com on this thing. People were pretty angry about this one. This thing got "Ishtar"-level scathing. So... brace yourself.

I think the e-books Pascal cranked out "The Sweet Life" pretty well-received.

I honestly didn't care for the ebooks. It made me want to roll my eyes more then the original SVH series. The gang is almost 30 but seems like they are still 16 because of the way they act and think but I think the writing is somewhat to blame for that since it was written like one of the original SVH books was which I have to be honest when I go back and read them now it makes me want to roll my eyes since I can't believe how immature and badly written they were. The only series I can really go back and read is the Senior year one.

Love Les Miserables!!!

I was very disappointed in the Sweet Life. The ending was awful. Unless there is another book, I am very disappointed that I wasted my time reading this.

Damon-U should've met me back in 1864 u would've liked me. Elena-I like u now just the way u are.

Oh gosh, the first book was terrible. I couldn't read the next book but I did find out what happened to poor Elizabeth.

reply

I didn't read them but, I'm tempted to buy one of them...
