Cancelled because of O.J. Simpson trial?

I remember watching this show everyday after school (I was 5 @ the time) on my local WB station (it wasn't the WB yet though) and all of a sudden, the O.J. Simpson trial coverage was moved into that timeslot and by the time the trial was over, the show was cancelled? I'm from San Francisco...did this same thing happen in any other regions?

Interestingly enought, DiC used up all 39 episodes of Gridman that they had to recycle some episodes again. However, in a magazine article, there was mention of a second gridman named Sigma, who's real identity was Takeshi Todo (aka Malcom Frink's Japanese counterpart). So who knows what would've happened at the time if Tsuburya considered a second Gridman series.

He's a real life version of Kilokahn.

"I want Tong Po! Give me Tong Po!"

^LMAO.

I just reported you to IMDb for being rude.

I always assumed "Kilo Is Coming To Town" was the last episode(the one where Malcolm and Sam work together against Kilokahn). Having recently found out that it wasn't, I'm kinda disappointed. Would have been a fitting end to the show. A bit like the final Mighty Max episode actually.
