Volume 1 was just released today.

Just ordered it along with the first seven seasons of Power Rangers and the complete series of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Time to finally enter Nostalgia heaven. It's been far too long a wait.

Good for you for supporting this obscure little gem of a show. It's one of the lesser known kid shows, but it really was a product of it's time. I plan on buying it one day, now that I know it's out on dvd. Thanks for posting that news.

reply

Yeah, I saw that it was only like five bucks, so I figured I might as well get it before the price raises, especially since you get the entire first half of the show.

reply

Wow, that's cheap, but good to hear I guess.

reply

I got it for $10. Not as cheap as some of the others here, apparently, but well worth every penny. It's doubtful that they'll release a second volume, but most of the better episodes are in the show's first half anyway.

Good news, the second volume will be officially released on October 1st - on Amazon.com at least. Already finished volume 1 and am looking forward to seeing the rest of the show.

Put your weight on it!

reply

Oh man, I sincerely never expected them to release the remaining episodes. That's awesome. Thanks, Cookie Jar Entertainment. You've fed my never-ending addiction to nostalgia.

Volume 2 has been out for awhile and was recently on sale on amazon.
I'm still working on watching Volume 1, but ordered them both along with Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters From Beverly Hills. Really great to dive back into all these forgotten shows from when i was younger.

The first disc of Volume 2 includes the first episode of Teenage Alien Fighters From Beverly Hills as a bonus

Would of loved maybe the first episode or two of Denkou Chojin Gridman as a bonus since i think the same company that did Gridman worked with this show as well to some degree.
