There's just something so appropriate about watching this on a computer.

I received Vol 2. in the mail yesterday and the scenes in which Kilokahn is talking to Malcolm seem particularly appropriate to be viewed on a monitor screen. The series itself is like that. I almost prefer to watch some scenes with the DVD window at half screen because the show itself feels more like a computer program that way.

I never thought that the whole series would be released on home video. It's a very pleasant return to a childhood favorite.

I hear you. I've maximized my computer screen while watching this show on youtube. Particularly when Malcolm is in his room talking to Kilokhan. I feel like that's what i'm doing lol. Using a computer is appropriate back-up to watch the show, but also to somewhat live it.

It is kinda funny how dated the computers in the show look though.

I get that feeling too. I also noticed it all seems to be Comapq hardware, and the old Laptop Malcolm uses in his locker sometimes is crazy too.

If you want to see more old school gear check out the movie from 95 called Hackers

It was Compaq who supplied them with the computers, so it's going to be their computers they give them. I remember as a kid I was actually very pleased that my parents got a Compaq computer because I really loved this show at the time.
