O! M! G! There is a pandemic going on and an extremely old lady is calling my family and I to go to Nebraska!

It's almost EXACTLY like The Stand, except the old lady is Hispanic instead of black... And we're not having dreams... The old lady is using a telephone. She is my wife's Madrina (Godmother), calling to invite us to her 98th birthday party...

The man who doesn't talk much would be me. The woman is middle-aged, my wife, and we have our teenager. Our teenager has effectively become a deaf-mute since we bought him an iPhone, so I guess it all checks out.
