I love this mini series and the book .. but something at the end that I didn't understand about Trash .. At the end when Trash was sitting there with the bomb and when Trash said ' My life for you " , that he meant that to God and not Flagg .. And that Trash was working for God all along ... I may have just got it wrong .. It took me watching it three times before I realized it .. Did anyone else see it that way ?

Trashy was on Flagg's side as Flagg's people gave him the only acceptance he had ever known. When Trashy was saying 'My life for you!', he was dedicating his life to Flagg, not God.Hope this helps. share
He was unwanted by everyone else and had been his whole life, so when Flagg told 'you are the man I want', it was a call that was irresistible. In Vegas, Trashy found what he had been seeking his whole life but prior to the plague had never found. That was to fit in; to belong.
No; Trashy was firmly on Flagg's side here.
