speed racers dog?

ok, so i get a call at 1:00 in the morning, it's my brother, he wakes me up to ask me what the name of speed racers dog is? he says speed has a little white dog and he wants to know the name of said dog, i tell him i don't have a clue.
does anyone out there know what hes talking about and if so could you please let me know!?!?! thank you!
