This show was great, they should rerun it on TV ONE.

I really liked this show. I was very disappointed when they took it off the air!
Yet not really surprised. It was too 'real' for the wussies on the network. It did what shows are never supposed to do: show the grittier sides of life.

I'm going thourhg my video collection and found a bunch of episodes. I never knew how many folks that worked on this show went on to do other shows including King of Queens, Moesha, Parkers, Thea, Just Jordan and Married With Children.
shareI used to really like South Central too. We had a bunch of episodes that we had taped on VHS, but somehow my mom threw them out when she was getting rid of old videotapes that we don't watch.I really wish they would reair it on TV or come out with it on DVD.
shareSouth Central is my favorite Tv Show of all time I just watched the first 3 episodes....I have all 9 of them taped(actually the episode GUN was an hour long episode so maybe 10) the tape quality is not the best but it will do for now...My goodness I am going to have to correct all the errors on this page if I can because there are many......A little bit of trivia though Gina Prince-Bythewood who wrote and directed the screenplay for The Secret Life Of Bees and Love & Basketball was the story editor for this show
